We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Geography who is an ECT or experienced teacher, with excellent outcomes. You will have the ability to inspire students to ensure ever better progress for all. Experience of delivering high standards of teaching and learning in this subject area is essential, and we desire a forward thinking individual who has the determination and passion to promote geography across the school. As an Outstanding Academy, we want the successful candidate to help continue to drive student progress and achievement in geography.

Teacher of Mathematics (ECT)

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Required for September 2024

Aston Manor Academy are seeking to appoint a Mathematics ECT. The successful candidate will first and foremost be an excellent classroom practitioner, who has enthusiasm for their subject, is able to motivate and inspire students and will further support the high achievements of the department. 

Applications are welcome from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

The Maths department are a close department of 8 full-time and 1 part time member of staff. Results within the department are improving year on year and are reflective of the strong subject within the school that Maths has become.

Aston Manor has a thriving Sixth Form, many students see this as an extension of Years 7-11.  Maths is no exception, currently we have 2 groups studying A level Maths.
